Yellow gold

Yellow gold offers a warm, classic colour. Karat tells you the proportion of gold in the alloy; a higher number means more gold, not a promise of greater resistance to wear.

Colour at the surface

A plated finish.
A lasting care relationship.

We plate silver jewellery only. It’s a layer of colour at the surface, with care that stays with you.

How long does plating last?

Your favourite piece gets to live with you. Its finish will soften with wear, especially where a ring touches your hand.

A little idea of timing

Gold and rose gold plating may begin wearing inside and underneath a ring within two weeks. White gold plating usually lasts four to five months. Your wearing routine makes a difference.

When it needs a refresh.

Bring it back. Our lifetime plating warranty includes unlimited complimentary replating for your silver jewellery.

Choosing your finish

Plating adds colour to the surface; a gold alloy contains gold throughout. Choosing a plated colour on the Oval Ring does not change its price.

Our jewellery is nickel-free and cadmium-free. Our white gold is alloyed with palladium. Share any known metal sensitivity before crafting; individual reactions to other alloy metals can still occur.
